Have you ever loved something, but wasn't sure you trusted in it?

You might like going to special destinations, but you don't trust the airlines. Maybe you like driving to different places, but you don't trust the roads and everyone on it. 

We can love God and trust God!

We have to put our trust in God and let Him have His own way.

  1. We can trust the Lord, because we can trust His Word.
    • Psalm 119:105 - the scripture light the way of our paths - it brings us understanding
    • Proverbs 3:5 - We can trust the Lord, and not our understanding
    • Do you trust the scriptures - the Word of God?
  2. We can trust the Lord, because Jesus trusted the Father.
    • Matthew 4:1-10 - In this scripture, we read how the enemy tried to tempt Jesus, but Jesus relied on the Word, which revealed the truth of the Father. Jesus knew He could trust God and allow God to have His way.
    • Do you trust the Father, even in the midst of temptation?
  3. God trusted His Son, because Jesus trusted the Father.
    • Matthew 26:36-42 - Jesus was praying about going to the cross and even though it was a difficult thing, He trusted His Father and He loved us, so He went through with the cross.
    • Do you think God trusts you to be faithful ?

Do you trust God? Let Him have His way.

Stop disobeying God and going about your own way. He is worthy, not just of your love, but of your trust! You can FULLY trust the LORD if you step out of the way and let God have His complete way in your heart and life.
